WOODWIND ORCHESTRA PLAY DAY

The Woodwind Orchestra Play Day was established in 2008 and has attracted well over one thousand woodwind players from the United Kingdom. The project has been held in various locations including Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, London and Manchester. It has enabled individuals to learn the art of ensemble playing under the guidance of an illustrious assembly of musicians.

From 2008–2020 the day was hosted and run by the East London Clarinet Choir. From 2021 the day will run as an independent project.

The project is grateful to retailers for supporting the 2020 events with their kind expertise, knowledge and time. They include Barnes & Mullins, D'Addario, Double Reed, Howarth of London, John Packer, Juno Reeds, K&M Stands, Rovner, Henri SELMER Paris, Sempre Music, Trevor James Flutes, Universal Edition, Vandoren and Yanagisawa Saxophones.
